Welcome to MARKED MOVIES, my Film Blog…
Incase you missed it, I’m Mark Walker. Or if you’re not into the whole brevity thing… Markus, Marko or El Markarino.

I’m from Glasgow in Scotland and I’m an avid film fan. I enjoy discussing and writing some comments on the film’s that I have recently watched and I try to review all kinds of films to give a grander overview of my tastes. Some you may agree on, others not, so any comments of your own are always welcome. Some older reviews are lazily written but I’ll get round to amending them and I also try write in an accessible way without getting too bogged down in film jargon or dropping in names that readers may not have heard of. If I do, I’ll try to give a brief description of their role in a film. I try keep my reviews concise as I’m aware that interest can be lost when someone chooses to waffle on. Hopefully, in the style that I write, my views still come across. If not, that’s up to you to say so… Recommendations and comments are always (and more than) welcome. Enjoy!

      Hi Mark,

      I’m still trying to find my feet with the site and how to design. I’m getting there bit by bit. I think I’m following you now. I have to say I’m very impressed with your blog, it’s top quality. I’ve just been transferring my reviews over from Flixster at the moment, so most will be older films. By the way, how did you manage to get your star ratings next to your reviews?

      Hi Will. Thanks for stopping by. Your more than welcome. I have just put an RSS reader on my site now. I’m new to this though. I only started in January. Can you tell me how it works and if I’ve done the correct thing? It says it’s an RSS of my posts but I don’t really know what that does.

        Hey Buddy – RSS is a thing called Really Simply Syndication which allows your feed to be displayed in RSS readers (like Google Reader). It can be configured to show feeds for posts, comments or both. You have put a post feeder up (which is the best) and I can confirm it is working ok. Any more questions then just let me know, but pretty new at this myself as well!
